A catch-all functionality that is activated for a certain email mailbox will allow you to receive emails that are sent to addresses that do not really exist. To put it differently, if you disable an email address and someone still sends a message to it, or to any misspelled address under the same domain, you will receive the email in the catch-all mailbox. Using this feature implies that you will no longer miss an email for any reason whatsoever, which could be crucial if you run some business, for instance. Since you may start receiving spam emails, you can use the catch-all feature with anti-spam filters so as to receive only legitimate messages in your inbox. Just one mailbox per domain name can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be set up for a catch-all mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Web Hosting

You will be able to create a catch-all email mailbox without effort if you’ve got a web hosting account with our company. The Email Manager tool in our in-house created Hepsia Control Panel is fully featured, yet stunningly easy to use, and it will permit you to enable different options, including the catch-all one, with no more than a few mouse clicks. All the email addresses that you have created will be enumerated alphabetically in this section and next to each of them you’ll notice a small "Catch-all" logo. Clicking it once will activate this option, clicking on it twice will deactivate it. As you can have only one such mailbox per domain, our system will alert you if you already have another one with this feature enabled or if you’ve got active email forwarding.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Servers

A catch-all email address can be set up with a couple of mouse clicks in case you’ve got a semi-dedicated service with our company. The semi-dedicated account will be managed through our in-house built Hepsia hosting Control Panel and you’ll be able to set up email addresses under any domain name hosted there. To enable the catch-all functionality for a given mailbox, you will have to click the button with the same name, which will be to the right of each mailbox. Disabling this option can be done in the same fashion and will not take more than one click either. If the catch-all feature has already been enabled for a given domain, you will receive a warning notification. The same is valid if the mailbox that you want to be a catch-all one has email forwarding enabled, as our system will never edit or disable anything automatically.
